Cheese Knives Belong on the Board, Not in the Junk Drawer
A steak knife on cheddar looks like you forgot the table. Keep the board and its knives together so they come out as one piece. Soft cheese gets the spread blade. Hard cheese gets the pointed one.
Do not crowd it
Cheese, a little fruit, a linen under the board. That is enough. If you add six bowls you are back to a crowded tray.
